"DËGG LA"

Ngueweul Rythme, alias NNR, has launched a single called " Dëgg la", a phrase in the national Wolof language which means: the truth, that's true.

Cheikh Ma Djimbira Ndiaye, artist name: Ndigueul, the lead-vocal explains in his text that the truth is that:

 

 Africa is more than ever, "standing on his own feet, dancing and relying on its own power."

The message of the single is a plea to the sounds of the instruments and voice of Mariama Kouyate featuring.

NNR used in the single, whose video is produced in Gorée, nine percussion originating from all regions of Senegal and representing different ethnic groups a representation of African-rhythm in its greatest diversity.

"Dëgg la" thus is a cocktail of sounds where Bougarabou, Sowrouba, Djembe, Sabar, Tama, Tabala, Khin, Bolon and Balafon meet and take them into melody to party and dance.

The launch of the second album of NNR called 'Invitation', including this single, is provide for the beginning of next year.
